High up in the sky, there lived a little star named Luma. Surrounded by a galaxy of his celestial friends, Luma shone brightly, yet he was still. Every night, while his fellow stars danced joyfully across the sky, Luma remained frozen with fear, his heart heavy with the thought of falling from his lofty perch.
The moon, noticing Luma’s dim glow, decided to speak. "Why aren’t you sparkling, little star?" the moon asked in its gentle voice. Luma sighed, his voice trembling with worry. "I’m scared, Moon. What if I fall? Then I’ll be gone, and no one will ever see me again!"
The moon smiled kindly, understanding Luma’s fear. "You know, Luma, stars don’t just fall for no reason. But even if a star does fall to Earth, it becomes something wonderful—a shooting star! And do you know what happens then?" Luma shook his tiny, glowing head. "What happens?"
"When people see a shooting star, they make a wish," said the moon. "You could help someone’s biggest dream come true!" Luma thought about this for a moment, the idea of bringing hope to others warming his heart.
Luma gazed down at the Earth, watching the people staring up at the sky with wonder and hope. He began to understand the moon's words. "But what if I disappear forever?" he asked, a hint of doubt still in his voice.
"You won’t disappear," assured the moon. "You’ll just shine in a new way—in the hearts of the people whose dreams you’ve touched." These words resonated with Luma, filling him with a newfound courage.
From that day on, Luma sparkled so brightly that people began calling him the "Star of Courage." He danced among the stars, no longer held back by fear. And when the time came for him to fall and become a shooting star, Luma embraced his destiny with open arms.
As Luma streaked across the sky, he knew he was still shining—in the wishes and dreams of those who had seen him. And the little star, once afraid, was now a beacon of hope, forever inspiring the dreams of Earth.
