One day, Tom was walking home from school when he saw a small puppy sitting alone near a tree. The puppy looked scared and hungry. Tom looked around but didn’t see anyone nearby.

Tom decided to take the puppy home. He gave it some food and water. The puppy wagged its tail happily. Tom’s parents said they should try to find the owner, so they made a sign and put it outside.

The next day, a little girl saw the sign and knocked on their door. She was very happy to see her lost puppy. She thanked Tom and promised to visit him again with her dog.
