Tommy loved playing with his toys, but sometimes he heard whispers that no one else could hear. "I think I need my magic glasses to see them," he whispered to his teddy bear.
"Look, Teddy! The colors are talking!" Tommy exclaimed, pointing at the wall. He felt excited and a bit scared.
"What are you looking at, Tommy?" She asked, noticing his puzzled expression.
"The colors, Mom! They’re telling me stories," Tommy replied, pointing to an empty wall.
"Sometimes, our minds can play tricks and make us see or hear things that aren’t really there," She said. "It's like when you wear your magic glasses."
"So, I'm not alone?" He asked, feeling a little more at ease.
"No, sweetheart. Lots of people have colorful imaginations like yours. It's called schizophrenia," Emily reassured him with a smile.
"Goodnight, colors," Tommy murmured, ready to dream of a world where magic glasses were real and everyone understood his colorful whispers.
