Lily and Max sat cross-legged on the plush carpet, their eyes wide with anticipation as they gazed at the mountain of presents beneath the tree. The faint sound of "Jingle Bells" played from a nearby speaker, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Lily[/@ch_1_d]"Look, Max! It's the dollhouse I wished for!"[/@ch_1_d] [@ch_2]Max held up a shiny new toy car, his face lighting up with joy.
"And I got the racing set! This is awesome!"
Sarah leaned closer to Tom, her voice soft. "They still believe in Santa. It's so magical," she said, her eyes reflecting the twinkling lights.
"It's the best part of Christmas," Tom replied, wrapping an arm around her.
Max[/@ch_2_d]"Santa must have known exactly what we wanted!"[/@ch_2_d] he exclaimed, looking over at [@ch_1]Lily with a grin.
"He's the best!" Lily agreed, hugging her new dollhouse.
Sarah handed each child a steaming mug of cocoa, her smile warm and loving. "To the best Christmas yet," she said, raising her own mug.
"And to many more magical mornings like this," Tom added, clinking his mug against theirs.
[@ch_1]Lily[/@ch_1_d]"Remember last year when we left cookies for Santa?"[/@ch_1_d] she asked, giggling.
"And he ate every single one!" Max added, his eyes bright with memories.
