Suzy bounded into the kitchen, her cheeks flushed from a long day of play. She spotted her big brother, Sam, munching on an apple, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
"I want a snack!" Suzy declared, reaching eagerly for an orange.
Sam raised an eyebrow, pausing his chewing. "You know, Suzy, there's a little magic word that makes snacks appear faster."
Suzy's eyes widened with curiosity. "Magic? Really?"
Sam nodded, his grin growing. "Yup. But you have to say it to see the magic."
Suzy tilted her head, puzzled. "What word?"
"The magic word is 'please,'" Sam whispered, leaning closer.
"Okay," Suzy said, a spark of understanding in her voice. "Sam, can you hand me that orange, please?"
As soon as Suzy uttered the word "please," a gentle shimmer of gold dust appeared in the air! It swirled around the orange, lifting it off the counter and floating it gently into her hands.
Suzy gasped, her eyes alight with wonder. "It worked! Magic dust!"
Sam laughed, delighted by her amazement. "See? Saying 'please' is like magic. It makes people happy to help you."
Suzy found her mom folding laundry, her face serene and focused. "Mom, can I have a cookie, please?" she asked, her voice full of hope.
Once again, the golden dust appeared, swirling and sparkling until a cookie seemed to hop out of the jar and into Suzy's hand.
Suzy's mom looked up, her smile warm and approving. "Wow, Suzy," she said. "Saying 'please' really is magical, isn't it?"
Suzy nodded, feeling a sense of pride and joy.
Excitedly, Suzy shared her discovery with her friends. "If you say 'please,' magic happens!" she explained, her voice animated with enthusiasm.
Her friends watched, wide-eyed, as a cupcake floated toward them with a sprinkle of golden dust after a chorus of "please."
Mia, one of Suzy's friends, giggled. "Suzy, this is the best party ever!"
Suzy beamed, her heart swelling with happiness.
Suzy realized that the magic of "please" was more than just golden dust—it was the joy and kindness it brought into their world.
Jake leaned over, his eyes twinkling. "Suzy, you should teach everyone this magic!"
Suzy nodded, feeling a sense of purpose. "I will! I'll spread the magic of 'please' everywhere I go."
Suzy hugged her teddy bear tightly, whispering, "Magic is real when you say 'please'!" She drifted off to sleep with a smile, dreaming of all the happiness she would spread with her magic word.
And from that day on, Suzy used her magic word everywhere she went, spreading happiness and golden dust wherever she spoke.
