Lila was sitting beneath the oak tree, her curiosity piqued by a peculiar book half-hidden in the roots. "I wonder what secrets you hold," she murmured, brushing off the dirt. The book shimmered with a golden light, inviting her to open it.
First, they approached a group of children arguing over a soccer ball. "Let's use 'please' to ask politely," suggested Lila. The gentle blue spirit floated forward, and as the children said "please," the tension dissolved, and laughter replaced the frowns.
"Thank you for your help," said the student, and the spirit twirled happily, leaving behind a trail of sparkles. Sam, inspired by this kindness, looked for more ways to be polite.
"Excuse me," Sam said sincerely, and the person nodded, the spirit's gentle glow reflecting in their smile. The hallway seemed lighter, and the spirits beamed with pride.
"Politeness really does make the world a better place," Maya said thoughtfully. Lila nodded, hugging the book to her chest. "And now we know how to spread it," she added, as they walked home, the schoolyard bathed in the soft glow of twilight.
