Lily, a curious and adventurous eight-year-old, skipped along the path, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Her mom, Mrs. Thompson, watched from a nearby bench, enjoying the warm sun and the sound of laughter.
"Lily, remember our special password?" Mrs. Thompson asked with a gentle smile.
"Of course, Mom. It's our secret word!" Lily replied, nodding confidently.
"Good. If someone you don't know tries to talk to you, what do you do?"
"I ask them for the password first. If they don't know it, I walk away and find you," Lily recited, her voice full of determination.
"That's right, sweetheart. It's important to stay safe," Mrs. Thompson encouraged.
Mr. Smith, a kind but unfamiliar man, smiled at Lily and said, "Hello there, young lady. Can you help me find my lost puppy?"
Lily, remembering her mom's words, asked, "What's the password?"
"Password? Oh, I'm sorry, I don't know it," Mr. Smith replied, realizing his mistake.
Lily waved goodbye and ran back to Mrs. Thompson, feeling proud of herself for being cautious.
"You did great, Lily! I'm so proud of you," Mrs. Thompson said, wrapping her arms around her daughter.
"Thanks, Mom. I'll always remember our password," Lily smiled, feeling safe and loved.
