Lila sat cross-legged on her bed, her eyes wide with excitement as she flipped through the pages of her magical coloring book. "Wow, each page is a state!" she exclaimed, tracing her finger over the vibrant illustrations.
Billy the Buckeye, a jolly character with a shiny, nut-brown hat, greeted her with a wave. "Welcome to Ohio, Lila! Did you know our capital, Columbus, is named after Christopher Columbus?" Lila giggled and nodded, eager to learn more.
Sally the Sooner, a lively, adventurous spirit wearing a cowboy hat, galloped up on a playful pony. "Howdy, partner! Oklahoma City is our capital, and it's full of cowboy history and culture!" Lila grinned, imagining cowboys riding across the plains.
Lila marveled at the towering buildings and the Statue of Liberty standing proudly in the distance. "This is amazing! There's so much to see here," she said, eyes wide with wonder.
A friendly seagull landed nearby, squawking a welcome. Lila ran along the shore, collecting seashells and marveling at the beauty around her. "California's capital is Sacramento, but this beach is my favorite," she thought, feeling the sand between her toes.
Lila closed the coloring book and smiled, her heart full of the memories she had made. "I can't wait to color and explore more states tomorrow," she whispered to herself, hugging the book tightly.
