Tommy was a boy with curious eyes, But reading for him was a tough challenge. Bell, his dog, wagged her tail with Joy, For she had a plan to help him read, you see. "I wish the words would make sense to me!" He sighed aloud, feeling quite gloomy. Bell did a tiny dance, just a twirl, Hoping to bring a smile to the boy's world.
Tommy opened his book with a little hesitation, Bell nudged him gently, no time to back down. "The cat... in the... hat," he began to read, And Bell danced a bit, inspired by his lead. Tommy giggled at his furry friend's jig, Bell wagged her tail, not missing a gig. Every correct word got a little more dance, Tommy felt his heart begin to prance.
With every day, the words came more clear,
Bell's dance grew bigger, and so did her cheer.
Tommy read stories of knights and of lands,
Bell spun and twirled, with joyful hands.
"I'm getting better, I know I can do it!"
Tommy said, with a heart full of spirit.
Bell barked happily, her paws in the air,
Showing Tommy that she truly did care.
Tommy picked a story, a little bit longer, Bell wagged her tail, her faith was strong. "Once upon a time," he read with grace, Bell danced like the wind, all over the place. Tommy laughed as Bell spun around, Her dance was the happiest sight he found. His reading was smooth, his voice was clear, Bell's joy showed there was nothing to fear.
Tommy knew the secret his friend had taught,
That reading gave strength, a power he sought.
Bell's dance was more than just a fun game,
It showed Tommy that learning was his to claim.
"With words, I can travel, explore, and be free,"
He whispered to Bell, full of glee.
Bell wagged her tail, proud of her friend,
For Tommy's reading journey would never end.
