Ms. Quan, a kind teacher with bright eyes, walks arm in arm with her cheerful friend, Jenny. Their laughter rings out as they stroll past families flying kites and children chasing butterflies. "I love Easter Monday walks with you, Quan. There’s always something special in the air," says Jenny with a smile.
Ms. Quan pauses, noticing a glimmer by the path. She kneels and brushes aside the grass, revealing a large, iridescent egg with swirling patterns of blue and gold. "Jenny, look at this! It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen," she exclaims. Jenny kneels beside her, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Are we... flying?" gasps Jenny, her laughter bubbling up in delight. Ms. Quan spreads her arms, soaring beside her friend, the wind whipping past. "Hold on, Jenny! Let’s see where this magic takes us," she calls, her heart pounding with excitement.
Ms. Quan and Jenny swoop through crystal arches, waving at friendly dragons and tasting candy-colored clouds. "This is incredible! I never want to leave Quantasia," says Jenny, her eyes shining. Ms. Quan laughs, her worries forgotten in this magical world.
"Jenny, we should go back. Our families and my students will miss us," says Ms. Quan, her voice gentle. "You’re right. But what a day we’ve had!" replies Jenny, hugging her friend as they slowly float back down.
Ms. Quan and Jenny smile at each other, their hearts full. "Let’s save the egg for a rainy day," says Jenny, her eyes twinkling. "Agreed. But today was the best day ever," Ms. Quan replies, as they head home, memories of magic swirling between them.
