Lily sat up in bed, her curly hair a delightful mess. Today was her twelfth birthday, and there was something special about the way the light touched everything in her room. With a yawn, she reached for her glasses, the ones she had received as an early birthday gift.
Lily gasped, her eyes wide with wonder. "This is incredible!" she exclaimed, reaching out to touch a butterfly. It fluttered around her fingers, leaving a trail of sparkling dust.
Lily stepped into the garden, her heart racing with excitement. Everywhere she looked, there were creatures she had only read about in fairy tales. "Hello there," Lily greeted a rabbit with antlers, who nodded in return.
Finn the Fox, with his bushy tail and mischievous eyes, approached Lily. "Welcome to our world," he said with a grin. "It's a pleasure to meet you," Lily replied, feeling an instant connection with these magical beings.
Lily marveled at the beauty surrounding her. "I never knew such a place existed," she said in awe. "It's always been here, waiting for someone like you," Finn replied with a wink.
Lily removed her glasses, the ordinary world coming back into view. Yet, she knew it wasn't ordinary at all. "I'll see you all again soon," she whispered, holding her glasses close, a smile playing on her lips.
