Miriam, a lively 8-year-old girl with bright eyes and a curious mind, sat cross-legged on the wooden floor. Her fingers brushed against a dusty, leather-bound book hidden behind newer volumes. The cover bore a simple yet profound title: "The Life of Jesus."
"What's this?" she wondered aloud, her fingers tracing the embossed letters.
Jesus, appearing as a gentle figure with kind eyes and a warm smile, emerged from the glow.
"Hello, Miriam," he said, his voice as soothing as a lullaby. "Would you like to hear my stories of love and miracles?"
Miriam's eyes widened in awe. "Yes, please!" she exclaimed, her heart fluttering with excitement.
Jesus shared tales of compassion—the feeding of the five thousand, the healing of the blind, and the calming of storms. With each story, Miriam felt her heart swell with warmth and understanding.
"How can I share this love with others?" she asked, her voice thoughtful.
"By being kind and spreading hope," Jesus replied gently, "just like we are doing now."
Miriam knelt beside them, her smile radiant. "Let's all play together," she suggested, her voice sweet like honey.
Jesus watched, his heart full of pride as the children laughed and shared, their quarrels forgotten.
Miriam stood beside Jesus, her cheeks flushed with happiness.
"I think I understand now," she said, looking up at him. "Love is like a light that never fades."
Jesus nodded, his eyes twinkling like stars. "Exactly, Miriam. You are a light in this world."
Miriam closed the book, her heart full of gratitude and joy.
"Thank you, Jesus," she whispered, feeling his presence linger around her, a constant guide and friend.
And as she drifted into dreams, the village was quietly transformed, touched by the love and hope she had shared.
