Motu, a mischievous little monkey with a knack for causing trouble, swung from branch to branch, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Nearby, on a sturdy branch, sat Chidiya, a wise and patient bird, tending to her small yet cozy nest.
"Hello, Chidiya! Your house looks so beautiful. What's inside?" Motu asked, his curiosity piqued.
Chidiya fluffed her feathers, a gentle smile gracing her beak. "There's just one grain inside, my dear Motu. It's my meal, and it keeps me satisfied."
Motu peered into the nest, his face scrunching up in disbelief. "Only one grain? How do you manage with just that?" he exclaimed.
Chidiya chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with wisdom. "I eat it slowly, savoring each bite. That way, I never feel hungry," she explained.
Motu nodded thoughtfully, inspired by her words. "I should try eating slowly too. Then maybe I won't feel so hungry all the time!"
Despite his resolve, Motu's stomach growled loudly, reminding him of his hunger. Unable to resist, he crept towards Chidiya's nest, his eyes fixed on the single grain.
"Just one little taste," he whispered to himself, reaching out with a trembling hand.
Chidiya spotted Motu just in time. "Motu! Are you trying to steal my grain?" she scolded, her voice firm yet gentle.
Motu froze, guilt washing over him. "I'm so sorry, Chidiya. I couldn't help myself," he admitted, lowering his head in shame.
Chidiya softened, understanding the monkey's struggle. "It's okay, Motu. We all make mistakes. Here, take a little, but remember to share and respect others' belongings," she said, offering him a small piece.
Motu beamed with gratitude, promising to be more considerate in the future. From then on, the two friends shared their meals, laughter, and the joys of the jungle, learning the true value of friendship and patience together.
