Little Mira, with her hair a tumble of dark curls, stirred at the edge of a dream. The faint, tinkling notes of a distant piano drifted through the house, coaxing her awake. She blinked in the gentle light, rubbing sleep from her eyes as the music seemed to swirl around her, tender and inviting.
Mira paused at the top of the stairs, her heart fluttering with anticipation. The music grew louder, richer, each note painting stories in her imagination. She tiptoed down, gripping the banister, drawn forward by the invisible thread of sound.
Mira crept closer, eyes wide with wonder as she spied her mother, Elena, seated at the keys. Elena's fingers moved gracefully, weaving magic from ivory and ebony. "Mama, did you make the music come to wake me up?"
"Good morning, my little songbird," Elena replied, patting the space beside her on the piano bench. Mira scrambled up eagerly, her legs dangling. "I thought maybe today, you’d play along with me,"
"Will you teach me to make music in my dreams, too?" Mira asked, her voice soft as a whisper. "Of course, Mira. With you, every day brings a new song," her mother replied, as together they filled the house with joyful sound.
Mira leaned against her mother, heart swelling with happiness. She knew that each morning would bring new music, and with it, endless possibilities. Wrapped in music and love, she was ready to greet whatever wonders the day would bring.
