Tommy woke up with a smile, as bright as the sun, Today was the day he'd have so much fun. His mom packed him lunch, a sandwich and pear, As he got dressed quickly, with hardly a care.
Tommystood at the bus stop, his heart full of glee, Thinking of all the wonders hesoon would see. The bus pulled up with a loud cheerful toot, He boarded excitedly, the museum on route.
Tommy stepped off the bus, eyes wide with delight,
The museum loomed large, a magnificent sight.
Inside were treasures from both future and past,
He couldn't wait to explore them all, and fast.
In the dinosaur hall, Tommy marveled with glee,
At the bones of a T-Rex, as tall as a tree.
"Look at those teeth!" he exclaimed with a grin,
Imagining the roars that once filled the din.
Next, Tommy found the gallery, a sight to behold,
With paintings of landscapes and portraits of old.
Each stroke and color was a story untold,
He felt like an explorer, brave and bold.
As the day came to close, Tommy felt glad,
For the adventures he had, both thrilling and rad.
"I'll come back again, there's so much to see,"
He whispered to himself, full of curiosity.
