Dora clutches her backpack tightly, her breath coming out in quick puffs as she runs.
Boots, arms pumping, tries to keep up, glancing behind them every few seconds with trembling hands.
"Dora, did you see that ghost? It was floating right behind us!"
"I saw it, Boots! We have to get out of here before it catches us!"
Dora scans the area, searching for any sign of safety.
Boots grabs her hand, his eyes still darting nervously.
"Let’s find Geo Umizoomi! Geo always knows what to do!"
"Good idea, Boots. Let’s hurry before the ghost comes back."
Geo Umizoomi, a clever boy with a bright blue suit, opens the door, his eyes widening at their frightened faces.
"Whoa, Dora, Boots! What happened? You both look really scared."
"Geo, there’s a ghost in the forest! It chased us and we barely escaped."
"Can you help us figure out what’s going on?"
Geo Umizoomi kneels to examine a white cloth caught on a branch, the fabric fluttering in the breeze.
"Look, I found something! This doesn’t look like a ghost—just a piece of fabric."
"But the ghost was floating! How could it be just a cloth?"
"Let’s keep searching. Maybe there’s more to the mystery."
A familiar friend, Swiper, peeks out from under the sheet, his mischievous grin unmistakable.
"Swiper! It was you all along?"
"Haha, I wanted to play a spooky trick! Sorry if I scared you."
"Swiper, you really had us fooled. Next time, just ask if you want to play!"
"See, sometimes things aren’t as scary as they seem. Solving mysteries is fun when we work together!"
"Yeah, and we’re not afraid of anything with friends by our side!"
"Thanks, Geo. Now we know even ghosts can be solved with teamwork!"
The night settles peacefully, and the friends promise to return for more adventures—with or without spooky surprises.
