Lila and Luna were identical in every way, from their bright blue eyes to the way they wore their hair in loose braids. Sitting cross-legged on the plush rug, the twin sisters watched intently as Pipi, their super smart parrot, perched on the back of a chair, his feathers shimmering in the soft light. "Pipi, teach us more words!" Lila exclaimed, her voice filled with eagerness. "Words make magic!" Pipi replied, his eyes twinkling with enthusiasm.
Pipi hopped down onto the table, where a picture book lay open, filled with colorful illustrations. "Look," he chirped, pointing with his beak to an image of a ball. "Ball!" Luna clapped her hands, "Ball, like the one we play with!" she said, grabbing a red rubber ball from the floor. "Yes, connect words to things," Pipi encouraged, nodding approvingly.
Lila was now pointing to a picture of a cat, "Cat, like Mr. Whiskers!" she giggled, as Luna held up a plush toy cat. The twins were catching on quickly, and Pipi flapped his wings in delight. "Wonderful! You learn fast!" he squawked, flying up to the top of the bookshelf for a better view of his students.
Lila and Luna sat by the window, gazing at the garden outside. "Pipi, can we learn more tomorrow?" Luna asked, her voice soft with wonder. "Of course! Every day brings new words!"
