In the kitchen, Tommy, a curious little boy, looks at the table full of food. "Wow, so many foods!" he says with excitement. His mom smiles, ready to help him explore.
"Crunch, crunch, crunch," says Tommy as he bites into an apple. His mom nods, "Crunchy foods are fun to eat!" Tommy tries a carrot next. "Crunchy, just like the apple," he laughs.
Tommy picks up a banana. "Soft, soft, soft," he giggles. "Soft foods are gentle to eat," his mom explains. Tommy pokes the mashed potatoes, "So fluffy!"
Tommy chews on some cheese. "Chewy, chewy, chewy," he says slowly. His mom adds, "Chewy foods are fun to munch on!" Tommy nods, enjoying the chewy adventure.
Tommy licks a popsicle. "Cold, cold, cold!" he shivers with a smile. "Cold foods can be a nice treat," says his mom. Tommy holds the yogurt, "Brr, chilly!"
Tommy tastes some honey. "Sweet, sweet, sweet," he says, licking his lips. "Sweet foods make us smile," his mom laughs. Tommy tries the mango, "Yummy and sweet!"
Tommy bites a lemon. "Sour, sour, sour!" he exclaims, giggling. "Sour foods can be surprising," his mom says. Tommy nibbles a sour candy, "Tangy fun!"
Tommy sniffs the ginger. "Spicy, spicy, spicy," he whispers. "Spicy foods can warm us up," his mom explains. Tommy tries a tiny bit of pepper, "Hot and tingly!"
