Lila, a fluffy bunny with big, curious eyes, hopped excitedly towards the playground. She loved the swings and the slides but most of all, she loved playing tag with her friends. Toby, a gentle turtle with a shiny shell, was her favorite playmate. "Let's play tag, Toby!" she called out with a bright smile.
As Lila dashed after Toby, her laughter echoed. But in her excitement, she accidentally bumped into him, causing him to wobble and nearly fall. "Ouch, that hurt a bit," said Toby, rubbing his shell gently. Lila stopped, looking worried. "I'm sorry, Toby. I didn't mean to bump you," she said softly.
Toby smiled reassuringly at Lila. "It's okay, Lila. I know you didn't mean it. But maybe we should find a gentler way to play," he suggested. Lila nodded eagerly. "Yes, let's think of new games that are fun and safe!"
Lila and Toby sat under a big oak tree, brainstorming ideas. "How about we play hide and seek?" Lila suggested. Toby nodded, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "I love that game! We can take turns hiding behind the slides and swings," he agreed.
As they played hide and seek, Lila realized how much fun they were having without any bumps or bruises. "I'm glad we found a new game, Toby," she said happily. "Me too, Lila. Being kind makes playing even better," replied Toby, and they both agreed that gentle games were the best games.
Lila and Toby walked home together, their hearts filled with joy and the warmth of friendship. "Tomorrow, let's invite more friends to play," Lila suggested. Toby nodded, "Yes, the more, the merrier!" And with that, they said goodbye, carrying with them the lessons of kindness and the promise of many more happy days to come.
