Bjorn, the polar bear, trudges onward, his heavy paws leaving deep imprints in the snow. He pauses, sniffing the air, alert for any sign of movement. The wind whistles softly, and all is still except for the sound of his breathing.
Percy, the penguin, flaps his wings anxiously and shuffles to the center of the floe. He gazes up in awe as Bjorn approaches, towering above him. The two animals lock eyes, both startled and curious.
"Um... excuse me, but do you know where I am?"
Bjorn[/@ch_1] sits down carefully, mindful of his size, while Percy edges a little closer.]
"You're in the Arctic, friend. But I don't think penguins usually come this far north," Bjorn rumbles, his voice gentle.
"I got a bit lost during a swim," Percy replies, his eyes wide. "Everything here is so different from home—no rocks, just endless snow and so much cold!"
Bjorn[/@ch_1] stands and stretches, then offers a massive paw to Percy.]
"Let me show you around. It might not be like your South Pole, but there's beauty here too," Bjorn says with a warm smile. Percy hesitates, then steps forward, trusting his new companion.
Percy[/@ch_2] about bustling penguin colonies, Bjorn about hunting under the northern lights.]
"I've never seen light dance in the sky before," Percy marvels as green and purple ribbons shimmer above them. "It's called the aurora. Whenever I watch it, I feel less alone," Bjorn confides.
Bjorn[/@ch_1] and Percy stand together, knowing their adventure is drawing to a close.]
"Thank you for your kindness, Bjorn. I'll never forget the Arctic or you," Percy says, emotion thick in his voice.
"And I'll always remember the little penguin who brought laughter to the ice," Bjorn replies. As Percy waddles toward rescue, both look up at the shimmering sky, forever changed by their unlikely friendship.
