Shane woke up, excitement bubbling within him as he looked at the colorful Eagles banner above his bed. But today, a new thought occupied his mind—the Poop Fairy. With a furrowed brow, he wondered if he'd need to leave something under his pillow like with the Tooth Fairy. The idea made him squirm, but his curiosity was stronger.
Shane eyed his favorite tastykakes, but his mind kept drifting back to the Poop Fairy. "Mom, do I have to put poop under my pillow?" he asked, his voice a mix of dread and intrigue.
His mom laughed gently, shaking her head. "No, sweetheart. The Poop Fairy works differently. You'll see," she reassured him, a twinkle of amusement in her eyes.
Finally, it was time. Shane stood before the potty, determination in his eyes. He remembered his mom's words and took a deep breath. As he succeeded for the first time, a tiny sparkle caught his eye.
The Poop Fairy grinned at Shane, his smile as bright as his hair. "Congratulations, Shane! You've done it!" he exclaimed, his voice ringing with joy.
The fairy handed Shane a shiny gold coin, its surface gleaming in the light. "This is for your bravery and success," he said with a wink.
Shane turned the coin over, wondering if it could maybe, just maybe, help him see his Eagles at the Super Bowl. His heart swelled with pride and possibility, knowing he had taken a big step today.
As Shane drifted into slumber, he realized that bravery could take many forms. Sometimes, it was facing a potty for the first time; other times, it was cheering for his team. But no matter what, he was ready for whatever came next.
