Lily stood proudly in her bright, polka-dotted pajamas, her tiny hands on her hips as she surveyed her kingdom. Her mother, Emma, watched with a tender smile, holding a steaming cup of coffee. "Good morning, my little explorer," she greeted, ruffling Lily's hair.
Emma knelt beside Lily, pointing at the chart. "Look, you're doing so well! Are you ready to try again today?" she encouraged, her voice filled with enthusiasm. Lily nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with determination.
Lily approached the potty with a mix of curiosity and hesitation. Emma sat on a stool nearby, offering gentle encouragement. "Remember, it's just like sitting on a big chair," she assured. Lily, with a furrowed brow, attempted to sit, her balance wobbly but steadfast.
Lily looked at the small puddle with wide eyes, then up at Emma, expecting a reprimand. But Emma chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Oops! It's okay, darling, we all have accidents," she said, wiping the floor with a towel.
"Even the bravest have to learn new things," Emma explained, pointing at a drawing of a lion cub. Lily nodded, her resolve renewed. "I can be brave too!" she declared, her voice filled with confidence.
With newfound determination, Lily approached the potty, her steps sure and confident. Emma watched with bated breath, her heart swelling with pride. This time, Lily sat down, and success was met with joyous clapping and a triumphant sticker on the chart. "You did it, Lily! I'm so proud of you!" Emma exclaimed, enveloping her daughter in a warm hug.
