Lily stood at the threshold of the bathroom, her small hands clutching her beloved teddy bear. Her eyes were wide with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. Today was the day she would try something new—something both exciting and a little bit scary.
Lily took a deep breath, her brow furrowing in concentration. "Okay, Teddy, we can do this," she whispered, as if seeking reassurance from her fluffy companion. With a determined nod, she approached the potty, her heart thumping in her chest like a tiny drum.
In her mind, the potty transformed into a majestic throne, and Lily was a brave queen embarking on a grand adventure. "I am Queen Lily, and this is my royal throne!" she declared, giggling at her own imagination.
As Lily settled onto the potty, she felt a flutter of nerves. Suddenly, there was a small splash, and she let out a surprised squeal. "Oops, Teddy, I guess queens can have accidents too," she chuckled, shaking her head with a smile.
Her mom appeared in the doorway, her face lit with encouragement. Mom smiled kindly and knelt beside Lily. "It's okay, sweetheart. Every queen learns from little mistakes," she reassured, giving Lily's hand a gentle squeeze.
With newfound confidence, Lily tried again. This time, a triumphant giggle escaped her lips. "Teddy, we did it! We're potty champions!" she exclaimed, hugging her bear tightly. Her mom applauded, joining in the laughter that filled the sunlit bathroom, marking the start of many more brave adventures to come.
