Lila stretched her tiny arms wide, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she sat up in her bed. Beside her, Mr. Cuddles, her beloved stuffed bear, lay nestled under the covers. "Good morning, Mr. Cuddles!" she chirped, her excitement bubbling over at the thought of today's challenge.
Lila grabbed Mr. Cuddles and made her way to the bathroom. "Alright, Mr. Cuddles, today is the day! We’re going to conquer the potty!" she declared confidently. Her mother had told her how grown-up she would feel once she mastered this new skill, and her little heart was set on it.
Mr. Cuddles sat propped up on the sink, watching over her with his ever-present stitched smile. "You can do it, Lila," he seemed to say. Lila giggled at the thought, feeling a surge of determination.
"It’s okay, Mr. Cuddles," she reassured her furry friend, "We’ll try again after breakfast. Practice makes perfect, right?" She hopped off the potty, giving Mr. Cuddles a reassuring pat.
"I almost did it, Mama! Mr. Cuddles and I are going back after breakfast," Lila announced proudly. Her mother nodded, "That’s wonderful, Lila. Remember, every try is a step closer to being a big girl."
Lila took a deep breath, holding Mr. Cuddles close. She sat down, and after a few moments, the sound of success echoed through the bathroom. "I did it, Mr. Cuddles!" she exclaimed, her face lighting up with pure joy. Mr. Cuddles seemed to smile back, proud of his best friend.
