Ria twirls in her yellow dress, her brown ponytail swinging and her yellow eyes sparkling with delight.
Pinkie Pie, with her vibrant pink curls and endless energy, hops playfully beside Ria.
"Tag, you’re it, Pinkie!"
"You’ll have to be faster than that to catch me, Ria!"
Ria's hair slowly falls straight and flat, her vibrant expression dimming.
Pinkie Pie's once-bouncy mane droops, her face clouded with confusion.
"What’s happening to us? My hair feels so… heavy. And flat."
"I don’t know, Pinkie, but I don’t like it. I feel… sad all of a sudden."
Pinkamena (as Pinkie Pie now seems) stares at her reflection, her frown deep and her pink fading to a muted gray.
"We can’t stay like this, Pinkamena. We have to find our happiness again!"
"But how do we do that when everything feels so… empty?"
Ria squeezes Pinkamena's hoof, determination growing in her eyes.
"We’ll find a way together, no matter how dark it gets. Remember how we used to make each other laugh?"
"Maybe if we remember our happiest memories, we’ll find a clue."
Pinkamena[/@ch_2]'s coat loses its last hints of pink, turning a soft, melancholic gray. The air grows colder, and the ground crunches underfoot with fallen leaves.]
Pinkamena slows, her head hanging low as she glances at her now-gray mane.
"I can barely remember what laughter feels like, Ria. It’s like all my color is gone."
"Don’t give up, Pinkamena. Even when you’re gray, you’re still my friend. Let’s try to smile—just one more time."
Ria[/@ch_1] starts humming a familiar tune, her voice trembling but hopeful. Slowly, Pinkamena joins in, her frown softening as the melody wraps around them like a warm hug.]
The golden light ahead flares brighter, illuminating their path. The forest seems less foreboding, and a petal of pink returns to Pinkamena's mane.
"I remember! We used to bake together and sing silly songs… It always made us giggle!"
"Let’s keep going, Pinkamena. Maybe happiness is something we have to choose, even when it’s hard."
