Baachu bursts out of her front door, clutching a half-eaten pakora, her ponytail bouncing as she dramatically mourns a samosa fallen on the walkway.
Chinu stands beside her, serene as a pond, holding a neatly packed school bag and watching Baachu’s antics with a soft smile.
"Everyone, two minutes of silence for the brave samosa!"
"Baachu, it’s just a snack. We’re going to be late for school."
Kabadan rummages through a pile, searching for his missing shoe, his hair as wild as his room.
"You know, Baachu, if you ever run out of snacks, you’ll find enough in here to last a week. Just don’t ask me to find anything else!"
"Kabadan, your room is a snack magician’s paradise. I’ll perform a vanishing act on your chips later!"
Baachu stands tall in the crowd, eyes gleaming with the hope of stardom, while Chinu adjusts her glasses, calculating all possible disasters in her head.
"I’m signing up for magic tricks. Watch, I’ll make things disappear!"
"Baachu, maybe practice first? Or at least don’t try to make the principal disappear."
"Or just distract them with snacks. Works every time!"
Baachu waves her hands theatrically, rehearsing her trick, while Chinu watches with a notebook, jotting down every mishap.
"Ta-da! The coin... oh wait, where did it go?"
"It’s under the cushion, Baachu. You need to slow down and focus."
"If you can’t find it, just offer snacks. Nobody will notice!"
Chinu[/@ch_2] and Kabadan wait in the wings.]
"Ladies and gentlemen! Prepare to witness true magic—I will make this coin disappear!"
She clenches the coin, waves her hand, and—without warning—the coin vanishes. Gasps echo. Baachu freezes, panic on her face.
"Chinu! IT REALLY DISAPPEARED!"
"Check your pocket!"
Suddenly, a scream from the principal rings out—[the coin has landed in his tea cup].
Elderly neighbors debate ghost stories over chai, students whisper about Baachu’s newfound powers, and Kabadan proudly hands out snack packets as bribes for more stories.
"Baachu, you’re officially the Real Magician of Laddoo Nagar. And you still make snacks disappear faster than coins."
"Honestly, I think I’ll stick to snack magic!"
"If you ever need a vanishing trick, my room’s always open. Just don’t vanish me!"
The legend of Baachu’s magic lives on in Laddoo Nagar, where every snack is sacred, every trick is celebrated, and nobody ever questions the powers of the girl who can make anything—especially snacks—disappear.
