Noura awoke as the sun’s rays touched her face, the gentle warmth making her smile. She stretched and glanced at the clock, which read exactly six o’clock. Moving quietly, she washed her face, the cool water refreshing her senses, then brushed her teeth and laid out her prayer mat. The peaceful silence was broken only by the melodious call to prayer from a distant mosque, filling the room with a sense of calm purpose.
Noura sat with her family, savoring a simple but hearty breakfast. She glanced at the clock again—it was half past six, right on schedule. "Mum, can we listen to my favorite song on the way to school today?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Her mother smiled, pouring tea into delicate cups and nodding with affection.
Noura hopped into the car beside her mother, her schoolbag neatly packed. The familiar melody of her favorite song played as they drove, the city slowly coming to life around them. "I love when the streets are so quiet in the morning. It feels like the whole world is still dreaming," she mused, gazing out the window.
Noura returned home from school and headed straight to her desk. For an hour, she focused on her studies, her pen gliding over the pages as she solved math problems and reviewed her lessons. "If I finish my homework now, I'll have more time to enjoy the gym later," she whispered to herself, feeling a sense of accomplishment as she closed her last notebook.
On Thursday afternoons, Noura changed into her sports clothes and hurried to the gym, her heart pounding with excitement. There, she met her friend Reem, both eager to start their basketball session. "Ready for our usual challenge, Reem?" she grinned, spinning the ball on her finger. For two hours, they played fiercely, their teamwork and laughter making the time fly by.
After a satisfying meal with her family, Noura felt the day’s activities settle into a gentle tiredness. She helped clear the table, then changed into her pajamas as the clock neared nine. Curling up under her favorite blanket, she glanced at the moon outside her window and let out a contented sigh. "Another beautiful day," she murmured before drifting peacefully to sleep.
