Labao, wide and powerful, surges past rows of tall crops, his waters strong and sure.
Panaytay, gentle and serene, flows quietly beneath ancient bamboo trees, sending cool breezes to the villagers nearby.
Nagas, lively and bubbling, dances over smooth stones, trailing a parade of butterflies and wildflowers.
Together, the three rivers weave through the land like a single, joyful family, nurturing every living thing in their path.
"I am the biggest and strongest river! I can protect this place alone!"
Panaytay ripples softly, her voice calm in reply.
"Strength is important, Labao, but peace and joy are needed too. We must flow together."
Nagas giggles, sending a spray of droplets into the air.
"Without laughter and happiness, even the strongest river might feel empty," he teases, swirling around Labao’s current.
The earth shakes beneath Labao’s force, causing small animals to scatter.
Panaytay and Nagas watch with heavy hearts as their friend disappears into the distance, the harmony of the valley now broken by Labao’s lonely thunder.
Hidden in the mist, the Earth Fairy floats above the rivers, her eyes shining with sadness.
Labao listens, his heart heavy with longing.
"Maybe I don’t have to be the strongest alone. Maybe being strong means being together," he whispers to the twilight air.
The Earth Fairy’s gentle words echo in the wind.
Earth Fairy: "Labao, when we forget to work together, we may end up alone,"
"Let’s be a family again. Let’s make the land strong, peaceful, and happy together,"
Panaytay and Nagas respond with joyful ripples and laughter, their waters mingling in secret, unseen paths. The rivers—though flowing in different directions above ground—are united once more, their hearts beating as one beneath the earth.
Though the rivers now belong to different lands, their secret streams whisper beneath the soil, weaving an invisible bond that ties them together forever.
The villagers tell the magical story of Labao, Panaytay, and Nagas, teaching each new generation that even when we follow different paths, we can still be one family—making the world stronger, more peaceful, and filled with joy.
