Rohan skipped happily out of his house, his bright red backpack bouncing on his back. He was so excited for his first day of nursery! His mommy waved goodbye, and he rushed towards the auto-rickshaw stand, where Rajan Uncle, his favorite auto driver, waited with a friendly smile.
"Namaste, Rohan! Ready for your big day?" Rajan Uncle greeted him, his eyes twinkling. Rohan nodded enthusiastically, scrambling into the back of the auto. The little vehicle rumbled to life, and they started their journey.
"Rajan Uncle, why do the cars stop sometimes?" Rohan asked, watching the world whiz by. Rajan Uncle chuckled. "Ah, that's because of something very important called road safety, Rohan. It's like a game with rules, to keep everyone safe on the road."
"Rule number one: Always, always hold your mommy or daddy's hand when crossing the road. Imagine the road is a big, wide river, and your parents are a bridge to help you cross safely." Rohan nodded seriously, picturing a rushing river and his mommy as a strong, sturdy bridge.
"Rule number two," Rajan Uncle continued, "Look left, look right, and look left again before crossing. It's like playing a game of 'I Spy' - you need to spy if any cars or bikes are coming." Rohan giggled, imagining himself as a super spy, searching for moving vehicles.
"And finally, rule number four," Rajan Uncle added, slowing down near the nursery, "always wear a helmet when you're riding a bicycle or scooter. It's like a superhero's helmet, protecting your head!" Rohan puffed out his chest, pretending to wear a superhero helmet.
"Thank you, Rajan Uncle! I'll remember everything!" Rohan looked both ways, took a deep breath, and holding his mommy's hand tightly, crossed the road, feeling like a brave explorer following the rules of a very important game. He knew that with Rajan Uncle's rules, he could be safe and have fun, wherever he went. And he couldn't wait to tell all his new friends about the road safety game!
