Robo loved exploring and fixing things. Today, as he wandered behind his workshop, he noticed something hidden under a pile of leaves: a strange, round machine with blinking lights and whirring buttons. Curious, Robo brushed off the dust, and his eyes lit up with excitement.
"Wow! A time machine! I wonder where it will take me!"
Robo tumbled out of the machine, coughing on ash. He looked up to see a huge mountain exploding with smoke and fire—Mount Vesuvius during the eruption of Pompeii! People in togas ran past, and Robo waved at a little girl holding a puppy.
"Please help! My time machine is broken, and I need to fix it!"
Lucia, a brave girl from Pompeii, stopped and smiled. "Maybe my father, the blacksmith, can help you!"
Lucia[/@ch_2] and her father help Robo tinker with the machine, tightening bolts and fixing wires. Suddenly, the buttons flash again—another WHOOSH! The ash and lava vanish, replaced by a bright blue sky, shimmering water, and a huge steel bridge being built over a sparkling harbor.]
Sammy, a cheerful construction worker, waves his hat at Robo. "Struth! What a funny-looking helper! Need a hand with your gizmo, mate?"
"Yes, please! My time machine keeps breaking, and I want to go home," Robo replied. Sammy brought his toolbox and showed Robo how to use a super-strong wrench to tighten the time gears.
Robo peeked out as a friendly triceratops nuzzled the time machine with its horn. Trixie, the dinosaur, blinked her big eyes and sniffed curiously.
"Oh dear! I hope you know anything about fixing time machines, Trixie,"
"Maybe I can help push the lever with my horn! Hold on tight!"
With a gentle nudge, Trixie helped move a stubborn lever, making the machine rumble and glow.
Robo[/@ch_1] and his whirring machine land back in his own backyard. The sun is shining, the air smells sweet, and his robot family rushes out to greet him, their arms open wide.]
Robo jumps with joy, hugging his family tightly. He thinks of all the new friends he made and the adventures he had.
"I’m so glad to be home! But maybe next time, I’ll fix the time machine before I travel!"
