Leo, the little lion cub, sat alone beneath the sprawling branches, his heart heavy with longing. His siblings were off playing in the distance, their joyful roars echoing through the plains. Yet, Leo felt a sadness he couldn't shake. "Why do I feel so alone?" he murmured to himself, watching the sun dip below the horizon.
Leo lay in the grass, listening to the symphony of the night. He thought of his parents, who were always busy with the pride, and how he wished they would notice him more. "Maybe I'm just not brave enough," he sighed, feeling the weight of his smallness in the vast world around him.
Tara, the tortoise, approached the young cub with a gentle smile. "Why so glum, little one?" she asked in a voice that creaked like the branches above. Leo looked at her, surprised that someone had noticed his sadness. "I'm just a small cub in a big pride," he replied. "Ah, but even the smallest among us can have the loudest roar," Tara reassured him.
Tara shared stories of the savannah, of the many creatures she had met and the lessons she had learned. "Courage isn't about being the loudest or the strongest," she explained. "It's about knowing who you are and standing tall in that truth." Leo listened intently, feeling a warmth spread through him as he absorbed her wisdom.
Leo woke with renewed energy, his heart lighter than the night before. He thanked Tara for her kindness and wisdom. "I think I'm ready to play with my siblings now," he said, a smile spreading across his face. "Go on, little cub, and remember, your roar is as big as your heart," Tara encouraged.
Leo roared with joy as he chased his siblings through the tall grass, his heart filled with the courage Tara had inspired in him. He no longer felt small or unnoticed, for he knew his true strength lay within. The savannah was vast, but Leo had found his place in it, and his roar echoed across the plains, as bright and hopeful as the new day's sun.
