A shrill scream pierces the playful air as a swarm of tiny sand ants appears from beneath the sandbox. The girls scatter, their faces painted with fear, as some scramble up the jungle gym while others dash toward the safety of the big oak tree. Shoes and toys are abandoned in their hurry, and the soft sand is marked with frantic footprints.
Mia, the youngest, clutches her teddy bear tightly as she leads a group toward the clubhouse. The sound of buzzing and chittering follows them, but the girls don’t look back. Their chorus of anxious voices blends together as they recount what happened to anyone who will listen.
Geo Umizoomi, with his signature blue helmet and confident smile, looks up from his blueprint table. Milli, his sister, stands beside him, her dress decorated with swirling patterns. "Geo, you have to help us! The sandbox is full of scary ants—they chased us all the way here!" "Don’t worry, Team Umizoomi is on the case! Let’s figure out what’s going on."
Milli kneels down, gently brushing sand away from the box. Geo uses his Umi-Goggles to scan the area, while the girls huddle together, watching intently. "Look! The ants seem to be coming from that box. Maybe there’s something inside attracting them."
Mia gasps and covers her mouth, realizing the forgotten treats caused all the trouble. "It was someone’s snacks all along! The ants just wanted something sweet." The girls giggle nervously, relief washing over their faces as the mystery is solved.
Geo gives a thumbs up, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Whenever there’s a problem, Team Umizoomi is always ready to help!" The girls cheer, their laughter echoing into the golden evening light, grateful for their friends and a safe playground.
