Liam and Emily, two inseparable friends, raced across the playground, their backpacks bouncing with each step. "Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!" Liam shouted, his voice full of excitement.
Liam clutched his books tightly, trying to ignore the taunts that followed him. Tommy, the tallest of the group, sneered as Liam passed by. "Hey, loser, where do you think you're going?"
Liam sat at his desk, his mind elsewhere. Mrs. Thompson, the kind-hearted teacher, noticed his distraction. "Liam, is everything alright?" she asked gently.
Emily found Liam sitting alone, his expression troubled. "I heard what happened," Emily said softly. "You don't have to face this alone. We're in this together."
Mr. Harris, the school counselor, listened attentively as Liam shared his experiences. "Bullying is never okay, Liam. We're here to help you," Mr. Harris reassured him with a supportive smile.
Liam and Emily stood together, ready to face the day. "Thank you for being there," Liam said, gratefulness in his eyes. "Always," Emily replied, her smile bright as the sun above.
