Bobby, the baby bear, awoke with a start, realizing that Mama Bear was nowhere in sight. His heart pounded as he looked around, the forest suddenly feeling vast and unfamiliar. "Mama? Where are you?" he called out, his voice echoing through the trees.
"Fear not, little one," Olivia hooted gently. "I saw your mother heading towards the river. Follow me, and I'll guide you." Bobby felt a wave of relief wash over him as he nodded, grateful for Olivia's help.
Sammy, the squirrel, bounced along the path, his bushy tail flicking with excitement. "Hey Bobby! Want some company? I know all the shortcuts around here!" he chirped. Bobby smiled and nodded, feeling a bit braver with Sammy by his side.
"Hello, Bobby," Daisy greeted, her voice as soothing as a lullaby. "I saw your mother this morning. She went towards the berry bushes by the river. You’re almost there." Bobby felt his spirits lift. "Thank you, Daisy. I can't wait to see her!"
Bobby's heart leapt as he spotted Mama Bear gathering berries with her usual grace. "Mama!" he cried, rushing towards her. Mama Bear turned, her face lighting up with joy. "Bobby! I was just about to come back for you," she said, enveloping him in a warm embrace.
Bobby thanked his new friends, his heart full of gratitude. "Thank you, Olivia, Sammy, and Daisy. I couldn’t have done it without you," he said. Olivia nodded wisely, and Sammy and Daisy beamed with pride, knowing they had helped a friend in need.
