Timmy the turtle peeks out from his shell, watching the other animals gather for their morning meeting. His heart beats fast whenever it’s his turn to speak, so he pulls his head in, hoping no one will notice.
Lila the dragonfly, with iridescent wings, flits nearby, offering a reassuring buzz.
"Good morning, Timmy! Would you like to share your thoughts today?"
Timmy tries to shrink further into his shell, but Benny the frog, cheerful and bouncy, hops closer.
"It’s okay, Timmy. We’re all friends here. I used to be afraid of croaking too loudly, but everyone liked hearing my voice!"
Timmy peeks out shyly, his eyes wide and uncertain.
When the pebble lands near Timmy, he hesitates. Mila the rabbit, gentle and soft-furred, gives him an encouraging nod.
"You can do it, Timmy. Even just one word. We’d love to hear you,"
Timmy gathers his courage, poking his head out a little farther.

Timmy takes a shaky breath and speaks, his voice quiet but clear.
"Hi, everyone. I… I like being here with you,"
The group breaks into smiles and cheers, their encouragement warming the air.
"That was wonderful, Timmy! See? Your voice is just right,"
Timmy finds himself less afraid. When his turn comes, he tells a little story about a snail who wanted to see the world.
"That was such an amazing story, Timmy! You have so much to share,"
Timmy smiles, feeling warmth blossom inside his shell.
Timmy now sits tall, his voice steady and proud as he talks with his friends. No longer hiding, he laughs and shares ideas, knowing his voice matters.
"Thank you for believing in me. I’m not afraid to speak up anymore,"
His friends cheer, and the pond echoes with laughter, as Timmy discovers the joy of being heard.
