In a cozy corner of the meadow, Sammy the Sheep was busy playing with his friends under the dimming sky. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Mama Sheep called out to him, her voice gentle yet firm. "Sammy, it's time to come in and get ready for bed," she said, but Sammy pretended not to hear, too engrossed in his game.
Once inside, Mama Sheep and Papa Sheep tried to tuck Sammy into his bed of soft hay. However, Sammy wriggled and squirmed, his eyes wide open. "I don't want to go to sleep yet!" he protested. Papa Sheep sat beside him, patting his woolly head gently.
Mama Sheep looked at Sammy with a knowing smile. "How about a bedtime story?" she suggested. Sammy, curious, nodded eagerly. "Once upon a time, there was a little sheep who never wanted to sleep," she began, capturing Sammy's attention instantly.
Papa Sheep continued the tale, "The little sheep learned that sleep helps you grow strong and healthy. It's when your dreams take you on adventures, and your body gets to rest," he explained. Sammy listened intently, imagining himself growing tall and strong.
As the story unfolded, Sammy's eyes began to droop, and a yawn escaped him. Mama Sheep whispered softly, "Sleep is a magical time, Sammy, where you can be anything you dream of,". With that, Sammy snuggled deeper into his hay bed, his eyelids fluttering closed.
Sammy drifted into a peaceful sleep, his mind filled with dreams of playful adventures and sunny days. Papa Sheep and Mama Sheep watched over him, their hearts full of love. "Goodnight, our little dreamer," Mama Sheep whispered, before settling down to rest as well.
