Dora, the brave young explorer with her signature pink shirt and backpack, skips along the path hand-in-hand with Boots, her loyal monkey friend wearing red boots and a big smile.
They chat excitedly about their adventure, pointing at butterflies fluttering around.
"Boots, look at all these pretty flowers! Today we're going to find the hidden waterfall, right?"
"¡Sí, Dora! And maybe we'll see some new friends along the way. This jungle is full of surprises!"
Dora and Boots stop abruptly, their eyes widening at the eight-legged creature beside them, its body fuzzy black with glinting eyes.
Hearts pounding, they freeze for a split second before panic erupts.
"¡Ay, Boots! A giant spider! It's right next to us!"
"Eek! Run, Dora, run! It's scary!"
Screaming at the top of their lungs, Dora and Boots bolt down the path, arms flailing wildly.
Dora clutches Boots' paw tightly, both looking back fearfully every few steps.
They finally collapse behind a large boulder, panting heavily, the spider nowhere in sight.
"Boots, that spider was huge! What if it follows us? We need help!"
"Yeah, Dora, it had so many legs! Let's call our math friends—they always know what to do in tricky spots like this."

Dora presses the big red button, and the screen lights up with colorful patterns.
Geo, the friendly shape-shifting robot from UmiZoomi with his square body and glowing eyes, appears alongside Milli, the pattern-loving girl with ponytails, and Bot, the bouncy robot with wheels and a cheerful face.
"Geo, Milli, Bot! We saw a scary spider and ran away screaming! It was sitting right beside us!"
"Please help us figure out what to do! We're too scared to go back!"
"Don't worry, Dora and Boots! UmiZoomi to the rescue. Tell us more about the spider—how big was it, and where exactly was it?"
Milli draws pattern lines with her ponytail tools, while Bot scans with his gadgets, and Geo transforms into a magnifying glass.
They use math to zoom in on the exact spot, counting legs and measuring size.
"By using patterns, I see it's not moving like a real spider would. Let's count the legs together: one, two, three... up to eight!"
"My sensors show no web vibrations or spider signals. This could be a pattern trick!"
"Great teamwork! Dora and Boots, let's go back carefully. I bet it's not a spider at all—follow my shape guide!"
Dora and Boots, guided by Geo's shapes via the phone, approach slowly and poke gently.
It turns out to be Spinner, a shy little spider-like friend with soft plush fur, big friendly eyes, and a curly tail, who was just resting.
"Hi, Dora and Boots! I'm Spinner, not scary at all. I was napping here and didn't mean to frighten you. Want to play web-weaving patterns together?"
"¡Oh, Spinner! We're so sorry we ran. Thanks, UmiZoomi—you helped us see it was a friend all along!"
"Yay! Math magic turned scary into super fun!"
"UmiZoomi power! Great job, everyone—adventure complete!"
