Twinkle watched the sky around him, feeling small and insignificant compared to the other stars. "I try and try with all my might, but I can’t shine as big or bright," he lamented softly, casting a forlorn glance at the vastness around him.
The Moon looked down at Twinkle and smiled reassuringly. "You’ve been special all the while. Even stars that shine so small still bring light and help us all," she whispered, hoping to lift Twinkle's spirits.
Twinkle frowned, unconvinced by the Moon's words. "I don’t think that this is so. No one sees me, I’m too slight, I don’t make the world more bright," he sighed, feeling overlooked and unseen.
The Little Girl pointed up excitedly, her voice a soft whisper in the quiet room. "Look at that one, oh so small, but still, it sparkles after all!" she exclaimed, her heart warmed by the faint glow of Twinkle.
The Moon smiled down at Twinkle, "You see, my dear, you shine just right. Even small stars bring us light," she reassured, knowing the impact his light had on the world below.
Twinkle beamed, feeling a warmth spread through him. "I may be little, not so tall, but even small lights help us all," he thought, finally understanding his place in the universe.
