Sage Narada approached with a radiant smile, holding a golden mango that glimmered with an ethereal light. "This mango is a gift from the heavens, bestowing wisdom upon the one who consumes it," he declared, presenting the fruit to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Shiva glanced at Parvati and then at their sons, Ganesha and Kartikeya. "Only one of you can be worthy of this divine mango," he announced. "To determine who, you must circle the world three times and return first."
Kartikeya, with a determined expression, mounted his majestic peacock, its feathers shimmering like a rainbow. "I will return victorious," he declared, taking off into the sky with great speed.
"My vehicle, a mouse, is no match for speed," he thought to himself. With a thoughtful smile, Ganesha approached Shiva and Parvati, folding his hands in reverence. "For me, my parents are the world. By circling you, I encompass the universe," he explained, walking around them three times with devotion.
Parvati turned to Shiva, her eyes glistening with pride. "Ganesha's wisdom surpasses the need for physical strength," she remarked softly. Shiva nodded in agreement, handing the mango to Ganesha.
Ganesha, holding the divine mango, bowed to his parents. "Thank you for this blessing," he expressed, his eyes filled with gratitude. Kartikeya returned, realizing the outcome, but his heart was filled with admiration for his brother's insight.
Sage Narada observed the scene with satisfaction. "True wisdom lies in understanding the essence of life," he mused, disappearing into the twilight. The story of Ganesha's wisdom was now etched in the hearts of those present, a timeless testament to the power of intellect and devotion.
