In the middle of the playground, Eli, a curious child with a mop of curly hair, gathered his friends around him. Maya, with her bright pink backpack, and Leo, wearing his favorite superhero t-shirt, sat cross-legged in front of him. "Hey, everyone! Have you ever heard about Jesus?" Eli asked with excitement sparkling in his eyes.
"I think I've heard the name before," Leo replied, curiosity piqued.
Eli opened the book to a page showing Jesus surrounded by children. "Jesus loved everyone and taught us to be kind to each other," he explained, tracing a finger over the smiling faces in the picture.
"Wow, he sounds really nice," Maya chimed in, leaning in to get a better look.
Eli turned the page to show Jesus helping a man who couldn’t walk. "He also did amazing things, like helping people who were sick," he continued, eyes wide with wonder.
"Like a superhero!" Leo exclaimed, bouncing with enthusiasm.
Maya stood up, "I want to be kind like Jesus too," she announced, her voice filled with determination.
Eli smiled brightly, "We can all do that. Let’s start by sharing our toys with everyone," he suggested.
Leo offered his favorite ball to a new friend, while Maya helped a little kid who had fallen. Eli watched his friends, feeling proud of their kindness.
"Jesus’ stories are the best," Maya sighed contentedly.
"Yeah, thanks for telling us about him, Eli," Leo added, giving Eli a high five.
"Anytime! Let’s keep being kind," Eli replied, feeling the joy of sharing something special with his friends.
