Batgirl sat on a wooden bench, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face. Her eyes followed the hustle and bustle of the park, where families and friends gathered to enjoy the beautiful day. Amidst the lively scene, her attention was drawn to two sisters nearby. The younger, a 12-year-old named Mia, was attempting to give her 15-year-old sister, Lena, a piggyback ride, her face flushed with effort but lit with determination.
"See, I can carry you!" Mia exclaimed, her voice full of youthful bravado.
"Maybe for now," Lena teased, her laughter ringing like a bell. "But I think I can carry you longer!"
Batgirl rose from the bench, her interest piqued by the sisters' cheerful competitiveness. With a grin, she approached, her presence instantly recognizable.
"Mind if I join the challenge?" she asked, her voice both gentle and playful.
The girls' eyes widened in surprise and delight. Mia and Lena exchanged a glance, then nodded eagerly.
With a playful wink, Batgirl crouched down and motioned for Lena to hop on. The older sister obliged, giggling as she settled onto Batgirl's back. In a swift and fluid motion, Batgirl took off, her steps light and sure as she ran through the park.
"This is amazing!" Lena shouted, her laughter echoing through the air.
After a few laps, Batgirl returned, gently setting Lena down. She turned to Mia, who was already bouncing with anticipation.
"Your turn, Mia," Batgirl said, her smile never fading.
Mia giggled as she climbed onto Batgirl's back. Once again, Batgirl sprinted effortlessly, the wind whipping around them as Mia squealed in delight.
Returning once more, Batgirl set Mia down, both sisters beaming with excitement.
"You're definitely the strongest in the park, Batgirl!" Mia declared, her eyes shining with admiration.
"And the most fun," Lena added, her smile wide.
Batgirl chuckled, feeling the warmth of their appreciation. "Strength comes in many forms," she replied softly. "But the best kind is the strength found in shared laughter and joy."
