Peyton and Hensley stand side by side, grinning as they scoop creamy swirls of ice cream into bowls for their friends and family.
"I think Grandma will love the strawberry flavor. Should we give her an extra scoop?"
"Absolutely! And let's save some sprinkles for everyone else, too," replies Peyton, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Hensley kneels beside her little cousin, offering a bowl with a gentle smile.
"Would you like some chocolate sauce on top? It's really yummy,"
Peyton passes a bowl to their friend, making sure each person feels included and appreciated.
"It's okay, you can have this bowl, I'll get another for myself," says Peyton, her voice soft and reassuring.
Hensley nods, encouraging everyone to be patient and polite.
"We have plenty for everyone, let's remember to share and say thank you,"
Peyton listens as their grandfather tells a story about his own favorite ice cream flavors from when he was a boy.
"I think ice cream brings people together. Especially when you share," she says, squeezing Hensley's hand in hers.
"I'm glad we did this together. You're the best sister," whispers Hensley, leaning her head on Peyton's shoulder.
"And you're the sweetest. I can't wait for our next ice cream party," replies Peyton, both girls smiling as the stars begin to twinkle above.
Peyton and Hensley stand at the doorway, their arms around each other, grateful for the laughter and love they've shared.
"Thank you for coming! See you next time!"
"And don't forget—be kind, and always save room for dessert!"
