Lina, a curious and imaginative girl, skips toward the easel, her sketchbook tucked under one arm and a bundle of colored pencils in her hand. Her eyes sparkle with excitement as she notices that the clouds above seem to swirl in response to her presence.
"I've never seen clouds move like that before. Could it be magic?"
A gentle breeze answers her question, carrying the softest whisper through the trees.
As Lina touches the canvas, a swirl of color leaps from her pencils and floats upward, magically painting shapes onto the clouds above. She draws a smiling cat, and moments later, the clouds twist to form a fluffy feline in the sky. Below, villagers pause, pointing and laughing with delight at the sky's new wonders.
"If I can paint clouds, maybe I can make everyone smile," Lina whispers, her heart brimming with joy.
Mr. Grizzle, the crow, watches Lina with suspicion. "You shouldn't play with the sky," he caws, flapping his wings. "What if the clouds get tired? Or if someone needs rain?"
Lina pauses, considering the crow's words. She remembers the village garden, which needs water to grow vegetables for everyone.
"But I just wanted to make people happy," she replies softly.
Lina realizes that her magical cloud paintings, while beautiful, have stopped the rain from coming. She feels a pang of regret and looks to Mr. Grizzle for help.
"What should I do? I didn’t mean for the garden to go thirsty," she asks anxiously.
"Sometimes, the best way to care for others is to think about what they truly need, not just what makes them smile for a moment," Mr. Grizzle answers.

The clouds darken, and soon, a light rain begins to fall, refreshing the gardens and fields. The villagers cheer, grateful for the timely shower. Lina smiles, feeling proud that she made a choice to help everyone, even if it meant erasing her beautiful art.
"I learned that real happiness comes from thinking of others, not just myself," she says, as Mr. Grizzle nods approvingly.
Lina sits beneath a tree, her sketchbook open to a new page. She begins drawing again, inspired by her day’s adventure. The lesson stays with her: sometimes, the kindest thing you can do is give up what you want for the good of others.
