Ella tossed and turned in her bed, her mind a whirl of equations and historical dates. "How will I ever remember everything for the test tomorrow?" she murmured to herself. Despite the quiet of the night, her thoughts were loud and insistent, keeping sleep at bay.
The teacher, a stern-looking figure with glasses perched on the edge of her nose, handed out thick booklets labeled "Advanced Physics." "This can't be right," she whispered, panic rising in her chest. The other students flipped through the pages confidently while Ella felt the weight of the test paper like a stone in her hands.
Ella glanced around, her heart pounding. "I don't even know where to start," she thought, her hands trembling as she scanned the incomprehensible questions. Each line seemed to blur and dance on the page, taunting her with their complexity.
She sat up, disoriented for a moment, before realizing where she was. "It was just a dream," she sighed in relief, the tension in her muscles slowly unwinding. The familiar surroundings of her room were a comforting reminder that reality was different from her nocturnal fears.
Her mother, sensing her nerves, offered a reassuring smile. "You'll do great, sweetheart," she encouraged.
