Three little lambs, Luna, Leo, and Lily, played in the meadow, their soft wool glistening in the sunlight. They had heard the shepherd speaking of a figure named Jesus and were filled with curiosity. "Who is Jesus?" Luna asked, her eyes wide with wonder. "I don't know," replied Leo, "but I think we should find out!"
The three lambs decided to venture beyond the familiar meadow. Lily looked at the path ahead, feeling both excited and a little scared. "Do you think we'll find Jesus in the forest?" she asked, her voice a mix of bravery and doubt. "Let's stick together," Luna assured her, "we'll find him if we try!"
As they walked deeper into the forest, the lambs met an old owl perched on a branch. "Excuse me, Mr. Owl," Leo said politely, "do you know who Jesus is?" The owl blinked slowly, his eyes wise and kind. He replied, "Ah, Jesus is known as a shepherd of people, guiding them with love and wisdom."
Luna gazed at her reflection in the water, contemplating the owl's response. "A shepherd like ours?" she wondered aloud. "Maybe Jesus helps people like our shepherd helps us," Lily suggested thoughtfully, "showing them where to go and keeping them safe."
Having returned to their meadow, the lambs felt a sense of peace, even though they hadn't met Jesus. "I think Jesus is like a shepherd in our hearts," Leo mused, "guiding us to be kind and help others." The others nodded in agreement, feeling a newfound connection to the stories they had heard.
As they lay under the starlit sky, Lily whispered, "Maybe one day we'll meet Jesus." Luna smiled drowsily, "Until then, we'll keep his spirit in our hearts." With that comforting thought, the little lambs closed their eyes, dreaming of love and kindness, feeling closer to the mystery of Jesus than ever before.
