Lila, a curious 7-year-old with bright eyes and a wild imagination, wandered through the aisles, her fingers trailing over relics of the past. In the corner, she spotted a peculiar toy—an intricately carved wooden box with a wind-up key. "What's this?" She asked aloud, her voice echoing in the quiet store.
Mr. Thorne, the enigmatic shopkeeper, stepped forward, his long coat trailing behind him. "Ah, you've found something special," he said, his voice a gentle rumble. "It's a time-traveling toy. Wind it up, and see where it takes you."
The world spun and settled, and Lila found herself standing in a beautiful castle wearing a long brown dress with puffy sleeves when, a little boy about her age ran out of a room with a tray while a man yelled "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT NATHAN"
Lila bumped into Nathan but he just got up and ran off wait! she yelled but Nathan was already gone. She ran after him but crashed into a baker " NO!" the baker cried " What will I give the king now!"
Lila blinked, disoriented "YOU!" the baker yelled at Lila "it is your fault that the baked goods are ruined, you go make some more" and before she knew it she was in the castle bakery with the baker yelling at her.
Lila heard a voice saying close your eyes, so she did and when she opened them she was back at the shop wearing her ordinary clothes again "Mr. Thorne" she said "how much is the time thingy?" its free for you" Mr. Thorne replied "now run along i hear your dad calling you goodbye kid" "Goodbye Mr. Thorne" "Goodbye" said Lila as she ran clutching the time thingy.
