The hens pecked around, gossiping about the peculiar egg that had appeared mysteriously among them. Their chatter was interrupted by the sound of a crack, as the large egg began to hatch.
Henrietta, the oldest hen, clucked with disapproval. "What kind of chick is this? It doesn't belong here!" But the chick, undeterred, wobbled on its new legs, looking around with curiosity.
Clara, the kind-hearted hen, approached Olly hesitantly. "Don't mind them, dear. You're just... different," she said softly, but Olly couldn't shake the feeling of not belonging.
Olly marveled at the world beyond the farm, each step a new discovery. "Maybe there's a place for me out here," Olly thought, as a sense of hope filled its heart.
Oscar, the leader ostrich, noticed Olly's awe. "Welcome, little one," he said warmly. "You are one of us. Come, join our family."
Olly looked up at the stars, a newfound confidence shining in its eyes. "I am home," Olly thought, surrounded by its true family, basking in the warmth of acceptance.
