Tewodros (Teddy), a young boy with a curious spirit, wandered the dusty paths of his village, his eyes filled with determination. By his side trotted Kaldi, a clever goat with a reputation for finding hidden treasures.
"We must find a way to save our village," Teddy whispered to Kaldi as they trudged through the fields. Kaldi bleated softly, as if understanding the gravity of the situation.
"What have you found, Kaldi?" Teddy asked, watching as the goat began to dig. Together, they unearthed a small, hidden spring of water, its cool, clear flow a miracle amidst the drought.
"Kaldi found water! Kaldi found water!" Teddy exclaimed, leading the villagers to the spring. They built a well around it, and the land slowly began to revive, the crops growing green and lush once more.
"What are these, Kaldi?" Teddy wondered aloud, picking a few berries to take back to the village. The elder, Abebe, examined them and declared them to be coffee berries that could bring warmth and energy when roasted.
"To Kaldi, the cleverest goat in all of Ethiopia!" Abebe toasted, raising his cup. Teddy beamed with pride, while Kaldi enjoyed his favorite treats, a hero among the villagers.
