Susan Pevensie adjusted her grip on Lucy Pevensie's legs as she carried her piggyback down the winding trail. "Thank you for carrying me, Susan," Lucy sighed contentedly, resting her chin on Susan's shoulder.
"It's no trouble at all, Lucy," Susan replied, her voice warm with affection. She could feel Lucy relax further, trusting in the strength of their bond. "Besides, it's a beautiful morning, and I wouldn't want you to miss any of it."
Lucy pointed excitedly, "Look, Susan! A family of deer!" Susan paused, allowing Lucy to slide gently to the ground. Together, they watched the graceful creatures, feeling the magic of the forest all around them.
"This place is just like Narnia," Susan mused, her eyes scanning the vibrant landscape. Lucy nodded, her heart swelling with memories of their adventures. "I miss it sometimes," Lucy admitted softly.
"We carry it with us, Lucy," Susan reassured her, squeezing Lucy's hand. "And maybe one day, we'll find our way back." Lucy smiled, comforted by the thought and the presence of her sister.
"Let's see where the path leads," Lucy suggested with a playful grin. Susan nodded, her spirit lifted by the adventure that lay ahead. Together, they stepped forward, hand in hand, into the heart of the enchanted woods.
