Timmy, a little lamb with a fluffy white coat, bounced around with sheer joy. He loved to hop, skip, and play, his tiny hooves tapping a joyful rhythm against the soft grass. The meadow was his playground, a place of endless adventure and delight.
Mama Sheep called out gently to Timmy, "Timmy, stay close today. The woods are not safe!" Her voice was firm yet loving, a reminder of the dangers that lurked beyond the meadow's safe boundaries. Timmy nodded, but his eyes were already wandering, captivated by a fluttering butterfly.
Timmy chased the butterfly, his little heart full of excitement. But as he ventured deeper into the woods, he soon realized he was lost. The tall trees loomed overhead, their shadows casting eerie shapes on the forest floor. Strange noises rustled through the underbrush, making him shiver with fear.
Timmy bleated desperately, "Mama! Mama!" But his voice seemed to vanish into the thick foliage. He remembered his mother's warning, and sorrow filled his heart for not listening. The once exciting adventure had turned into a lonely, frightening ordeal.
Timmy heard a familiar voice, and his heart leapt with hope. Mama Sheep called out, "Timmy, you didn’t obey. You must always listen!" Her voice was gentle but firm. She nuzzled him warmly, and Timmy felt safe once more, grateful for her love and guidance.
Timmy promised to listen from now on, remembering the verse from Ephesians 6:1. As they returned home, he felt happy and secure beside his mother. From that day on, he became a good little lamb, always listening to Mama Sheep's wise words.
